It is with a heavy heart that we received news this weekend of Stormy's passing before we could bring her home. Despite the holding farm's efforts to sustain her until our scheduled pickup this week, she lacked the strength to endure. Her filly, Lovy, was discovered lying by her mother's side when the facility found them. Stormy bore the tragic weight of pregnancy amid ongoing stress, chronic malnourishment, and deplorable neglect. Tragically, she lost her unborn foal due to these harsh conditions, and now, due to the same neglect, we have lost a beloved and precious soul.
